Sometime prior to Spring 2010, a gravel pit was established in Peachland that blocked off public access to forestry service roads that connected a trail system that connected parts of Peachland to the rest of the valley and to many lakes. Also the cut out section indicates a potential detour around the gravel pit that could reconnect the trail system again.
